Dr Edward Barden is a BSCI Level 3 accredited Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist at Imperial College, practising in both gated CT and MR cardiac imaging.
Having trained at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, he undertook the inaugural London Cardiac CT Fellowship and has been a user of the 256 slice Philips Brilliance iCT 256 since 2010. He has also worked at Papworth Hospital, the UK’s leading leading heart and lung transplant centre before returning to London. As an early adopter of cardiac CT in TAVI planning, he has particular expertise in implant and valve assessment.
