Dr. Nicolás Almeida is a cardiothoracic radiologist at Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Madrid, Spain.
Holding a European Diploma in Radiology (EDIR) from the European Board of Radiology and Level III certification in cardiac CT from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), Dr. Almeida specializes in advanced cardiac imaging, focusing on cardiac CT and MRI.
Dr. Almeida graduated Summa Cum Laude in Medicine from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador and received the “Best Intern Doctor” Award at Hospital Metropolitano de Quito. He serves as a professor in the Master’s Program in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Complutense University of Madrid and is the co-director of the “Madrid Cardiac CT Academy.”
Dr. Almeida is an active member of renowned societies such as the European Society of Radiology (ESR), Sociedad Española de Radiología (SERAM), and the Spanish Society of Cardiothoracic Imaging (SEICAT). With over 20 published articles, several book chapters, and active participation in national and international conferences.
