Dr. Grigoryan is a Consultant Cardiologist specialised in Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Valvular heart diseases working at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. She qualified from Yerevan State Medical University and National Institute of Heath, Armenia. She worked as Senior Imaging Fellow in Multimodality Cardiac imaging at Barts Health and Guys and St Thomas NHS Trusts before joining Valve and Structural consultants’ team at GSTT. She is EACVI Cardiac CT level III and BSE TTE and TOE accredited.
Her special interests are all aspects of 2D & 3D transthoracic, transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, periprocedural imaging for transcatheter aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, as well as structural cardiac CT. She is involved in a number of research projects on the natural history of heart valve disease which have resulted in peer reviewed publications. She helped to develop and delivered an on-line CT training academy during the COVID Pandemic and provides continuous education to junior and senior doctors and international training fellows.
