Mehdi is a Consultant Cardiologist at King’s College Hospital with special interest in structural heart imaging.
He was trained in cardiology in Australia when he had a chance to learn echocardiography from Professor Tom Marwick. He then moved to King’s College Hospital, London in 2015 to complete an advanced fellowship with focus on Structural Heart Imaging under supervision of Professor Mark Monaghan. He is actively involved in the Structural Heart Imaging in King’s College Hospital (mitral/tricuspid TAVI/TEER/ TMVR/ LAAO/ PFO). His research interests are application of advanced imaging, 3D printing and computer assisted modelling in structural interventions.
