Dr. Patterson, PhD FRCP is a Consultant Cardiologist in Structural and Coronary Intervention and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. In addition to being a high volume TAVI implanter and live case TAVI operator at EuroPCR and PCR London Valves, Dr Patterson is lead for the mitral and tricuspid programme at GSTT.
Dr. Patterson has been awarded more than 1.5 million pounds of independent charitable funds for cardiac research and has recently published the ACTIVATION trial in JACC CI – an RCT of PCI in TAVI and is clinical lead for the multi-centre ARREST Trial. Other research interests include trans-catheter valve thrombosis for which she was awarded the Josephine Lansdell award for research into heart disease.
