Dario Freitas is a Clinical Scientist working at St Thomas’ Hospital. He gained full BSE TTE accreditation in 2016, followed by EACVI CHD and TOE accreditations. He has worked as the transoesophageal echocardiography lead for St Thomas’ in 2021, and continues in his role as the lead for the ACHD Echocardiography service. He was awarded with BSE Fellowship in 2023. He has extensive experience working in education in echocardiography, contributing to local and national teaching including at British Society Echocardiography and British Cardiovascular Society conferences.
