I’m a core anaesthetics trainee in South West London. My interested in point of care ultrasound started at medical school when I learned about how echocardiography could be integrated into the assessment of shocked patients at the bedside. I worked as a clinical fellow in the ICU at Harefield Hospital, where I acquired more experience and became interested in ultrasound education. I was involved in establishing the Harefield Lung Ultrasound Masterclass and the Kingston Focused Echo Course, and I’m excited to be involved in this project to widen access to point of care ultrasound education.
